This clear, hand-blown focal bead has a thick yellow swirl over the surface, along with a brown pinstripe. The delicate, hand made bead is hollow and measures 18mm across (about 3/4"). Gold plated accents complete the design.

The round, white hair stick is hand turned from reclaimed ash. The bumps along the body of the stick help keep it from sliding out of your hair, along with the rough texture of the stick (not so rough that it will snag your tresses). Several coats of polyurethane make it water resistant, but not water proof.

** This beaded top is built on a metal pin that will not take rough handling. If you're careful to not handle the beaded top, this one of a kind hair stick will last for many years.

Usable length of stick: 5 1/2" (13.9 cm)
Total length, including the beaded top: 6 1/2" (16.5 cm)
Width of stick at the top: appox 10 mm
Wood: hand carved ash
Topper: hand-blown glass bead, plated accents

INTERNATIONAL customers are responsible for paying any duties, taxes, or other fees imposed by your country’s postal authority. Purchases will not be misrepresented on customs forms, so please do not ask.

Though I make every effort to be aware of what most countries allow to be shipped in, I can not know all the requirements or all the changes. Please check with your postal authority and customs agency to assure that what you are ordering will be accepted into your country and delivered to you.

Please be aware that the projected delivery time to most countries is two weeks, but can take up to six weeks and sometimes longer. Everything from weather conditions to hang-ups in Customs can have an impact on how long it takes to receive your items. (I've had a purchase arrive in New Zealand in just 6 days!)

If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me to see what we can work out. Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance, so returns, as long as product is in good condition, are generally accepted. I will reimburse for return shipping only if there is a problem with the item you ordered.

To make a return, please contact me within 7 days of receiving the item. The item must be received by me within 14 days of that first return email and be in resellable condition in order for the purchase price to be refunded. (Please feel free to contact me for clarification.)

Defective Items:
Defective items are extremely rare, but things can happen. I’m happy to replace the item at my cost if the item you received is defective. A photo of the item and close up of the damaged area are required in order for me to replace a defective item. Without a photo, I cannot replace the item. Sometimes it's simply a jump ring that has pulled loose. Either way, this helps me to assure future items do not have similar problems. ツ

Although my hair sticks are strong and the pin holding the beaded toppers in place should not bend easily, I still encourage that they only be held by the stick.

The items offered by Purple Moon Designs are intended for adults and should not be given to anyone under the age of 13 to wear or play with. Some components may contain lead and should never be put in the mouth (or other part of the body).

Please use common since in regards to safety with your new accessories and jewelry. Hair sticks and hat pins were once used as weapons and can still be dangerous if not handled with care.
